Client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive counsellor supporting individuals and couples
Rabia is a registered counsellor (PACFA) and provisionally registered psychologist (AHPRA), currently working towards full registration. She holds a doctorate in psychology and brings over two decades of experience across university settings and community sector organisations. She provides client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and neuroaffirming support to adults across a wide range of concerns.
She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-worth, grief, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. Rabia has experience supporting adoptees, women impacted by domestic and family violence, and couples seeking to strengthen or rebuild their relationships. She also offers adult ADHD assessments.
Her therapeutic approach draws on evidence-based modalities including CBT, ACT, DBT, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). As a bilingual therapist, Rabia brings strong insight into multicultural experiences and tailors her work to each client's unique needs. She is known for her warm, thoughtful approach and commitment to creating a safe space for healing and growth.
